Monique Rhodes has a mission – to help the world become a happier, calmer, more peaceful place. When you meet Monique she, herself embodies all of these qualities. Monique is positive, insightful and inspiring and she has led a truly extraordinary life.
I discovered Monique through her 10 Minute Mind practice, a guided mindful meditation program that you can do from the comfort of your own home in just 10 minutes. After listening to Monique’s guided meditation and her daily insights into the mind, happiness and living with intention, I couldn’t help but think this woman is living her purpose.
What I didn’t know was this fellow kiwi had spent most of her life travelling the world (currently in LA). Monique was a professional platinum-selling musician, she has worked with the spiritual greats (from the Dalai Lama to Eckhart Tolle and was nominated as New Zealander of the year.
I absolutely loved my conversation with Monique, she is a woman who has such a plethora of life insights about how to work with the mind and how to find true happiness, it is impossible to capture it all in on hour.

Monique has performed to audiences of thousands all over the world as a professional musician, she was the opening act on two European Tours for a music legend (in this case it was Chuck Berry). She has produced two platinum-selling charity albums in their home country. Monique was nominated for one of the highest awards in their country (New Zealander of the Year (one of the highest awards in their country)
Monique produced an album with some of the most well-known spiritual teachers of our time like Thich Naht Hahn, Eckhart Tolle and Pema Chödrön (just to name a few). Or someone who has performed for and also worked on a music project with His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
Monique gave up her permanent home after her studies and travelled all over the world with only the things they can carry in a bag for 13 years. She was one of only 8 westerners to ever perform in the tiny secluded kingdom of Bhutan (Mick Jagger was one of the other 8).
In 2015, Monique launched the 10-minute mind. She is a master at teaching you how to calm your mind, live a happier life and take a little walk on the wild side.
