This winter solstice marked one year of our weekly ocean swims… or maybe I should say ocean dips.
What started with a small WhatsApp group has now become a beautiful ritual — a growing group of 'mermaids' gathering at 7 am on Fridays. Some days it's just two of us. Some days it’s twenty. But there is always someone.
We’ve swum through every season — both in nature and in ourselves.
And here’s the thing: I never thought I’d be someone who could swim year-round. I'm a total wimp in the cold! But somehow, this hard thing has become something I don’t even think twice about.
So how does that happen?
How does something uncomfortable or hard become part of who we are?
And what about you?
Is there something hard you’ve been avoiding?
A new habit you want to begin?
Something that feels too far out of your comfort zone?
In this week’s podcast episode, I’m sharing 6 powerful ways to move through the hard things — tools that have helped me over the last year, and I know will support you too.
If you're ready to stop avoiding the thing and start becoming the person who does it - this one’s for you.
